Bold headline: Two Bills Questionable as Sunday showdown looms against New England, with several stars banged up but hopeful for a late-week recovery.
Buffalo Bills head coach Sean McDermott has listed two players as questionable for the upcoming game vs. the Patriots on Sunday. Linebacker Terrel Bernard, dealing with an elbow issue, and wide receiver Joshua Palmer, nursing an ankle problem, are the two players labeled questionable after a week of limited practice reps.
Meanwhile, defensive end Joey Bosa (hamstring/wrist) and right tackle Spencer Brown (shoulder) showed limited participation on Wednesday and Thursday, but are on track to be full participants for Friday’s practice.
Both Bernard and Palmer, along with Bosa and Brown, did not take the field in Week 14’s loss to the Cincinnati Bengals, which adds some uncertainty for their availability this week.
Cornerback Christian Benford is the only other Bills player to receive a practice designation this week. He was limited on Thursday due to a toe injury sustained during practice and McDermott indicated that Benford will not participate in Friday’s session, leaving his Sunday status uncertain.
"We really don't know," McDermott told WGR550, noting that the situation is still roughly 24 hours from the game and that Friday’s developments will heavily shape final decisions.
